What is Title I? Central Ridge Elementary is identified as a Title I school as part of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Title I is designed to support State and local school reform efforts tied to the challenging State academic standards to improve teaching and learning for students. Title I programs must be based on effective means of improving student achievement and include strategies to support family engagement. All Title I schools must jointly develop with parents and family members a written parent and family engagement policy. |
Open House – August 6, 2025 Meet your child’s teacher and our friendly and helpful school staff for the year. Parent-Teacher Conferences – October 1, 2025 Scheduled updates on your child’s progress. Title I “Fall N2 Science Night”- October 2nd, 2025 Participate in activities that support learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Introduction of Florida’s Science Standards. Title I “Spring N2 Literacy” – March 5th, 2026 Introduction of Florida’s ELA BEST Standards. Learn literacy strategies to support a love of reading. Barriers The school recognizes that work schedules, language barriers, discomfort in school settings, and lack of interest can make parent involvement challenging. Efforts are being made to create a welcoming environment, offer flexible options, and provide support so all families feel included and empowered to engage in ways that work for them. |
